Some nice (and true) things people have said about my work
I first met Andy through a pro bono project with Andy’s team in Harpurhey. I was mightily impressed with their purpose, focus and capability beyond their years – and that was down to Andy’s team forming and building abilities, to his energy and to the simplicity of his pragmatic approaches
Peter Massey – MD at Budd, customer experience specialists
Andy is an exceptional Strategy Consultant, Facilitator and Trainer who is able to combine sound business sense with a passion for Social Justice. A valued adviser, he has a sound understanding of the issues affecting young people and communities. He is an asset to any organisation or team that aims to be sustainable while maintaining a social conscience.
Cordelia Osewa-Ediae – Strategy Consultant
Andy is an incredible guy and has delivered some super high-quality masterclasses and mentoring for the MORE Project. The feedback from the attendees at his sessions has been spectacular and I look forward to working with him again during the rest of the project. Andy is a great mix of expert knowledge, exemplary delivery skills, charm, and humour. This makes him a pleasure to work with while getting fantastic results. Very highly recommended.
Neil Simpson – Digital Marketer
Andy’s pioneering work at Onside meant that we had a strategy for volunteering for each of the new Youth Zones that we were opening. In Oldham when we opened, there were 50 trained volunteers ready and waiting as well as a healthy pipeline of new people wanting to join. Andy went out into Oldham and connected with stakeholders in the days when we had nothing more than an idea and then a building site. He was integral in the early success that we have had with the club Will Lees-Jones – Managing Director at JW Lees
I could write all the standard management speak about Andy Jackson; he is visionary, and is a value driven individual who’s insight, in-depth subject knowledge, common sense approach, and has years of experience… etc etc The best thing was simply that he made my job a lot easier. He saw complex and emotive situations, and re-framed them to be positive, straight forward, and supported. I recommend Andy Jackson without reservation.
Susan Pennycook – South Leeds Youth Hub Change Manager (Leeds City Council)
As Acting Chief Executive at The Factory Youth Zone in Manchester, I have had the pleasure of working with Andy first hand. He has a vast knowledge of best practice when it comes to working with young people. He understands that the only way to build successful relationships with young people is to listen to them and he applies that principle consistently in everything he does. Dedication, support and commitment come as standard with Andy and I could not have achieved what I achieved at The Factory without his help.
Paul Bird – Leadership and Team Engagement Coach
I have worked with Andy at The Factory Youth Zone, but also as part of a PwC community project. I have always found him enthusiastic about his role, and full of energy. He is creative and innovative, and I look forward to continuing to work with him in the future.
Peter Chambers – Senior Vice President (Internal Audit) at Mubadala Development Company
